The weather
In the morning, the sun shines throughout the region from an initially often cloudless sky. A few thunderstorms form in the second half of the day. It remains hot with temperatures ranging from 30° in Sterzing to 35° in Bozen.
Mountain weather
The sun will still be shining widely in the morning. From midday onwards, larger cumulus clouds will form and the tendency for thunderstorms will increase.

Sun, clouds, thunderstorms: A weak high-pressure system and unstable air masses determine the weather in South Tyrol.
The weather
At first, it will be mostly sunny, with a few clouds in the northern parts of South Tyrol. As the morning progresses, cloud cover will gradually increase everywhere, and from midday onwards, a few thunderstorms will develop. Less hot with highs between 27° and 33°.
Mountain weather
While some clouds move in from the north over the mountains along the main alpine ridge already in the morning, it will initially still be sunny towards the south. Afterwards, cloud cover will increase everywhere, and from midday the likelihood of thunderstorms will rise.
The next days
Mostly sunny, less hot: Sunday will bring mostly sunny conditions with isolated thunderstorms in te afternoon. There will be plenty of sunshine on Monday, with the tendency for thunderstorms only increasing slightly in the southern parts of the region in the afternoon. Sunshine will also dominate on Tuesday, with at most isolated thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Wednesday is expected to be unsettled, with widespread showers and thunderstorms possible during the day.
